GETTING HERE
Finally! - A mountain resort that's easy to find and even easier to get to. The recently completed Interstate I-26 connector from Asheville NC to the Johnson City/East Tennessee area provides easy access to the resort from around the country. You won't find miles and miles of two lane switchbacks here - just 5 miles from Exit 3 off I-26, you'll find an exquisite mountaintop village perched 4300 ft. atop the panoramic peaks of Western North Carolina.
Please DO NOT use Mapquest, Google or any other mapping service for directions to the resort. You may use them to get you to the general area, but since we are a rural location you will need to follow the directions below in order to get to our resort.
ATTENTION: Due to a recent rockslide on I-40, the east and west lanes are closed at mile marker 3. It is expected the road will be closed for several months, into spring of 2010. If you plan to travel on I-40 from Tennessee, or further west, we have listed an alternative route below.
From the South
I-85 North to Greenville, Hwy. 25 North to I-26
West. Follow to I-240 East at Asheville and take
Exit 4A after the Smoky Park bridge to 19/23 N
(Future I-26 W) to Wolf Laurel and Scenic Wolf
Mountain Resort at Exit 3.
From the West
I-40 East to Asheville. Take I-240 East (Future I-26
W) to Exit 4A. Follow 19/23 N (Future I-26 W) to
Wolf Laurel and Scenic Wolf Mountain Resort at Exit
3.
Alternate Route: From I-40, follow I-81 North to I-26 East. Follow I-26 East through Johnson City, TN. Once you cross the North Carolina state line, we are the first exit (Exit 3, Wolf Laurel). Follow the directions below to get you to the resort.
From the North
19/23 S (I-26 East) to Wolf Laurel & Scenic Wolf
Mountain Resort (Exit 3).
From the East
I-40 West to I-240 West, to Exit 4A - 19/23 N
(Future I-26 W) to Wolf Laurel & Scenic Wolf
Mountain Resort at Exit 3.
